MEDITATE ON MY WORD AND MY VOICE

Nissan/Aviv 8,5769 Fifth Day Yom Khah'mee'shee

We know that we are living in perilous times..we see it in every news paper we read...we see it in the news casts on tv.....we receive the emails on the internet. If you have 'eyes to see' and 'ears to hear' then you are aware of what is being said. I try very hard to listen to what the LORD is saying to me. I am not perfect though and I am not under total obedience to Him. I know if I am to move on I have to conform to all He is saying to me and if I am to be prepared for what is coming I HAVE to do as He is telling me. There is a 'window' we have to get ready in. I cannot tell you how long we have but this window is getting more narrow everyday.

I watch and 'see' what is being said prophetically. I want to always 'hear' what the LORD is saying. Here are two very relevant Words....others gave these not me. I believe once given they are ours to keep and release to others. They are from our Elohim so no one owns them.

"Adopt a lifestyle of meditation on My Word and My Voice. Adapt your lifestyle to it. Begin small if you must, but begin. Joshua, David and the Apostle Paul observed it and exhorted others to do so. These three men greatly affected history. Perhaps you can follow after them as Paul also instructed Timothy. Revelation is what you seek."

Psalms 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.”

Joshua 1:8 "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.”
Psalms 143:5 “I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings; I muse on the work of Your hands.”

1 Timothy 4:15 “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.”

"Beloved, be done once and for all with double- mindedness and doubt. Speak My word with boldness, conviction, and faith. For, it will accomplish what it has been sent to do. Let the words of truth come forth in the power of My Spirit. No devil can withstand the power of anointed proclamation," says the Lord. "Call aloud according to My will and purposes, and you will not be disappointed."

Isaiah 55:11 "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it to do"

My friends, we MUST diligently seek revelation from God's Word. We MUST seek it day and night, meditate on it at all times. You are asking.."How can one do this?" Well, it MUST always be on your mind. Never let it stray from you.

When you study the Word, when you get it in you, your mind recalls it. You think about it during the night....you wake up with it upon your mind. It is the same with music. When you hear a song it stays within you. I wake up many times with the words to music upon my mind along with His Word. Not to worry, it is the music I listen to....about the LORD. The one on my mind recently goes.."I believe in Yeshua. I believe in the Son of God"

'Christian' leaders scoff at Torah study but I am happy to say that more and more Believers are coming to the realization that it is a good thing to study Torah.....because it is life to the body!

With life in us we MUST speak it to others. whatever we say MUST be said in truth. And when we speak we MUST mean what we say. I have said God hears our prayers but say it and mean it. Say about your problem..."LORD make a way" Say it loudly. Holy Spirit says..."USE ME" Use HIm... pray in the Spirit.....pray in the Spirit loudly. Do not be ashamed of Him. The power is not us but is within us thru the Holy spirit. So Holy Spirit says...."USE ME!"

Father I ask that Your Word be opened up to all eyes who read this blog. Let the 'eyes' of their understanding be opened to Your Revelation. In the Name of Yeshua, AMEN

The Torah study below comes from Martin and Norma Sarvis.

This week's Torah Portion:
From ancient times there has been a weekly portion from the first five books of Moses (The Torah) and from the prophets (Haftarah) read on the Sabbath in synagogues around the world. This portion is given a Hebrew name taken from the opening words of the passage.

An illustration of this practice appears to have been recorded in Luke 4:16 where Yeshua (Jesus) arrived in the synagogue in Nazareth and was asked to read the portion (Isaiah 61) from the Prophets. We have found that in perusing these weekly readings, not only are we provided opportunity to identify in the context of God's Word with millions of Jewish people around the world, but very often the Holy Spirit will illumine specific passages pertinent that week in our intercession for the Land and people of Israel.

This week (March 29-April 4) the readings are called "Tsav" (English: "Command!"). In English Bibles these include:
TORAH: Leviticus 6:8-8:36
HAFTARAH: Jeremiah 7:21-8:3; 9:23-24

In this week's Torah Portion Moses is told to command Aaron and his sons concerning the offerings they will shortly begin making before God. Careful instruction is made concerning each of these-with emphasis on the holiness of their activities. Then Aaron and his sons are consecrated, clothed in their holy garments and anointed.and atonement is made for them before they began their duties on behalf of the people.

The Haftarah begins by emphasizing that although important, God's initial instruction to Israel after delivering them from Egypt was not regarding the offerings, but:
*Jeremiah 7:23 "This is what I commanded them, saying, 'Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.'"

In Hebrew the word for 'hear' and 'obey' are identical. Please pray that we would be careful to incline our ears to listen to what the Spirit is saying to the Congregations-and that our hearing will be synonymous with our obedience. That Israel will realize that there is that within the God of the Universe which longs to be her God-and that there is something in our own nature which longs to be His people; that walking in His ways actually effectuates His goodness into our lives!

* Jeremiah 7:31-32: "They have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the Ben Hinnom Valley, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, and it did not come into My heart. Therefore, behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when it will no longer be called Tophet, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Tophet until there is no room."

The Ben [i.e. "Son of"] Hinnom valley snakes round beneath the walls of Old Jerusalem mostly in an east-west direction, down to where it meets up with the Kidron valley below the Temple Mount. It is mentioned in the Book of Joshua as forming the border between the ancient tribe of Judah and that of Benjamin. Probably it was along this valley that David brought the Ark of the Covenant from Kiryat Ye'arim to Jerusalem. But during the reign of Solomon evil was allowed to enter the valley. He allowed altars to Molech to be raised there; eventually children were sacrificed to that demonic power.

It is conjectured that a portion of the valley later took on the name "Tophet" from the drums (Hebrew: toph/tophim) which were used in those hideous rites. During the time of the Kings, judgment was released on the valley (see Jeremiah passage above) and its very name became a curse. By the time of Yeshua/Jesus, it was a continually-burning rubbish heap. A form of the ancient name "Valley of Hinnom" became the word "Gehenna"-a euphemism used by Jesus for Hell-a place of torment and constant burning.

BUT GOD! Within the final verse of Jeremiah 31 (the same chapter which announces a coming New Covenant) is a promise that this same valley shall someday be "Holy to the LORD!" Today we believe that we may actually be witnessing the beginnings of this sanctification! Armed with the promise, a little over nine years ago Believers began going into the valley to pray. At one time there was actually a weekly children's 'worship watch' taking place there. Soon the city came in and began cleaning up the place (there had been a rubbish pile there before). New paved lighted roads were put in all the way down to the City of David, and construction of a scenic promenade has begun along its crest.

At present there are believers both Jew and Gentile from several nations living near or on the slopes-and at one location continual worship and intercession is released over the valley. One evening the writer was present in the room where this worship was taking place. On the team was a young Jewish man from Argentina, pouring out his heart in worship on the drums. Then it came! The Drums! They too had become accursed-even giving their name to the infamy of the valley. But in Psalm 150 we are called to honor the LORD with High Praise upon the drum. And here at last it was happening.

The drums had been redeemed and were being released to their original holy purpose by a young son of Jacob whom God had brought back to the homeland of his fathers. And their sound was being released from the northern border of Judah (i.e. praise) out over the blemished valley which the LORD had promised 2600 years before would one day be again set apart for Him!

"The Earth is the LORD's and the Fullness thereof" (Psalm 24:1).

".in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God" (Romans 8:21).

"Praise Him with the toph (drum) and the dance.praise Him with loud cymbals.with crashing cymbals" (Psalm 150:4-5).
`
"He is the great High Priest / Who sat down at Your right hand / His blood was shed to cleanse and heal Your land.to heal Your land" (From the English version of the song "Good to Israel" by Rachel Boskey, ©2001 David's Tent Music).

* Jeremiah 9:23-24: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.
